GardenFest of Lights is back at Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden, tonight through Sunday, Jan. 8. We got a preview of this year’s displays last week.
The theme “Seeds of Light” brings millions of lights to line garden paths, decorate trees, and form sculptures. A 22ft. live tree in the Conservatory is decked out in a botanical theme. Guests can meander the gardens, get warm by the fire, and examine intricate model trains.
Advance tickets are required and each night has timed arrivals. There are a number of special nights, including dates when dogs are allowed and live music on select Thursdays.
Heads up: The Garden is closed on Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, and Christmas.
