June
The average high in June is around 85.6°, with an average low of 65.5°. This summer, it could get slightly warmer, with some more days in the nineties. It’ll be an ideal month for park gatherings and outdoor meals, though — June has the longest days of the year with an average of 14 hours and 43 minutes of daylight.
July
We’re preparing for it to get truly hot in July. Typically, Richmonders will see temperatures ranging from 70.2-90.9°, on average. It tends to be the warmest month of the year and the most sunshine-y, so don’t forget sunscreen before you head to Belle Isle.
August
Historically, August brings temperatures between 68.5-88.3°. It could be hotter and rainier than average, according to NOAA. It’s probably best practice to keep an umbrella on you when you’re headed to Dogwood Dell for the Festival of Arts.
