Calling all good boys and girls — Henrico Humane’s Pet Expo is back.
This annual event is returning for its 24th year where it will feature 70+ vendors with various goods and services. It’s designed to be educational, fun, and even interactive for pets as some demonstrations call for audience participation.
The humane society’s dog Adoption Stand will be on-site with a wide range of dogs — including beagles, chihuahuas, and terriers. Fortunately for adopters, Furbish Thrift has already covered the $100 adoption fee + spay or neutering fee for each one.
It runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 22 at Richmond Raceway Complex. In addition to picking up toys and treats, this ticketed event serves as a fundraiser for Henrico Humane, who uses all proceeds to benefit homeless animals in the county.
Tickets are on sale at $8 if you buy before the show. They rise to $10 if you purchase the day of. Kids younger than six can enter for free.
