Ever wonder about the value of your old items? Two Southside historical societies might be able to help you out.
The Chesterfield Historical Society of Virginia and the Bon Air Historical Society will host an antiques evaluation event on Saturday, Oct. 12 from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Chesterfield County Fairgrounds Exhibit Hall. Professionals in decorative arts, furniture, toys, cast iron, geodes, minerals, rocks, Civil War and other militaria, magazines, maps, and sheet music will be on site.
Bring your treasures to the fairgrounds and receive a verbal appraisal from the experts. The fee is $15 for the first item and $5 for each additional item. Funds will help support both historical societies.
