New Year’s Eve events to ring in 2026

Usher in the new year, from noon to midnight, with these parties around Richmond.

It’s hard to believe 2026 is right around the corner. Now’s your chance to make plans for New Year’s Eve and close out the year in style — remember how 2025 started? Here are nine upcoming parties, dinners, and champagne toasts to help you get a fresh start in 2026.

All events are for ages 21+ unless otherwise noted.

Dance the Year Away at Pizza Bones | No cover

  • Rally your friends, and shimmy over to Church Hill for a classic, cost-free night of dancing with beats by Sounds Heavy and The Disco Cat.

Noon Year’s Eve at Hardywood, West Creek | $5 | All ages

  • Early birds can celebrate a daytime ball drop at this family-friendly fest featuring a professional juggler, “Silly Bus,” and a mid-day balloon drop.

NYE Champagne Tasting at Dinner Party | $15

  • Starting at 4 p.m., this sipping soiree will get you in bed before 10 p.m. if you prefer to usher in the new year at home. Tickets include 10+ sparkling wine tastings and “all the french fries and snacks you want.”

NYE 1973 at Get Tight Lounge | $30

  • Ah, 1973 is coming to an end — at least at Get Tight it is. Catch local musicians performing decade hits, hang around for a balloon drop + champagne toast, and you’ve suddenly time-traveled to 2026.

French Quarter Dinner at Blue Atlas | $20 deposit

  • Reminisce on each memory of the year à la carte. This East End restaurant will offer a menu inspired by Creole-Cajun dishes and complemented by Le Storie Wines’ fine-picked pairings.

An Evening In Paris at Hilton Richmond | $40

  • Join Black Pride RVA + Us Giving Richmond Connections for an evening of elegance, hors d’oeuvres, and bubbly toasts. Plus, there’s an extra reason to celebrate — the programs’ 10th anniversary.

A “Wicked” NYE at Quirk Hotel | $60

  • Don a shimmering pink or green number, and head to Quirk for a themed night, spelled with tinsel, broomsticks, flying monkeys (the decorative kind), and a color-coordinated balloon drop.

Decemberween at Homegrown RVA | $80

  • Party with Richmond’s underground art scene and pay homage to the backyards and basements that bring our city’s creative personality to life each year.

Midnight in Manhattan at the Hofheimer Building | $80

  • Watch a few “Sex and the City” episodes and warm up your NYC party energy for this event, spanning multiple rooms with live music, dining options, and a skylight full of balloons waiting to drop.
