Since Richmond is apparently the No. 1 burger city in America — at least according to a report from Clever — we asked readers what local spots are serving up the best burgers. Here are some early contenders.

Beauvine Burger Concept | Emily B. shouted out this Fan restaurant. We’re intrigued by the Steak Frites burger with truffle fries, cabernet onions, spring greens, and béarnaise.

Cobra Burger | The Church Hill spot is a local favorite for smash burgers.

Brick House Diner | This restaurant, proposed by Sissy D., has locations in Midlothian and on Arthur Ashe Boulevard.

GWARbar | Susan M. vouched for the Baconecutioner, which is topped with bacon, beer battered bacon, bacon mayo, cheddar cheese, and more bacon.

We also heard love for regional chain Jack Brown’s Beer and Burger Joint. We know this list can be beefed up tell us what you’d add .
