Voters in Henrico and Chesterfield Counties had several questions on their ballot along with picking their representatives. The votes came in with an strong “yes” for projects involving fund allocation and approval.
Chesterfield
voted on $541 million in facility bonds broken down like this:
- Schools ($375 million)
- Libraries ($47 million)
- Parks and Recreation ($38 million)
- Public Safety ($81 million)
Henrico
had $511 million to distribute between:
- School projects ($340 million)
- Building and repairing fire stations ($84 million)
- Flood Prevention ($50 million)
- Recreation and Parks ($37 million)
