Smithsonian Magazine Museum Day is back this Sat., Sept. 17. That means free admission to participating museums around the country.

🎟 How it works

Reserve an official Museum Day ticket for you + a guest to visit a participating museum. When you present the ticket (make sure to check the ticket to see if it needs to be printed), you’ll be granted free admission.

You can only reserve a ticket for one museum — so choose wisely. Once you submit the form, you won’t be able to go back and change your selection.

📍 Where to go

There are three Richmond institutions participating in Museum Day.
🚙 Hit the road

23 other museums around VA are participating in Museum Day.

Good morning, RIC — new voice here. My name is Ryan Johnston and I am the CEO of 6AM City, the parent company and publisher of RICtoday. First, thank you for waking up with us every morning and looking to our City Editors, Katie and Robin, to help you start your day and get excited about everything RIC has to offer.

We launched RICtoday on July 26, 2021 and we couldn’t be more thrilled at how this city has taken to us. We now wake up with 31,227 readers and reach 11,823 people via social media — a big step up from day one.

We built this product based on both reader and advertiser demand. Readers like you were looking for a quick and convenient way to find everything in one place — focused on all things positive and written in a way that is digestible — and (in an effort to keep our product 100% free to readers) we work with advertisers who want to connect with readers like you.

We have a number of different opportunities to advertise directly in this newsletter — find out more by clicking on the link below.
