Ugly Dumpling will open at Willow Lawn on Wednesday, Nov. 20. The Chinese street food spot is located next to Lucky Road. It’ll be the first Virginia outpost for the chain, which is based in New Jersey.

A new pizzeria is coming to Ashland. Restaurateurs Jeremy and Sarah Chapman plan to open Steampunk Pizza in the former Hanover Pie Co. space in January. The Chapmans already own two businesses, Industrial Taphouse and Eat Kitchen and Catering, in that same shopping center. (Richmond BizSense)

RVA Bike Share could be on its way back. The program, which has been largely dormant since May 2023, reportedly has a new operator in Drop Mobility. The system teased more news to come in a recent Instagram post. (South Richmond News)

Atlanta-based DC Blox will not move forward with its proposed Azalea Avenue data center. The Henrico County Planning Commission recommended that the Board of Supervisors deny the proposal after residents brought up concerns. (Richmond Times-Dispatch)

Know a local nonprofit that could use some more funding? Applications are still open for the city’s Non-Departmental grants. Eligible organizations have until Monday, Dec. 2 at 4 p.m. to apply.
