Expansion plans submitted by the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts were denied by a state review board, but the CEO says this isn’t the end. The plans will need to be submitted and ultimately approved by the Department of General Services director, which hasn’t happened yet. (Richmond Biz Sense)

For the first time since 1958, Richmond Raceway will only host one NASCAR Cup Series in 2025. This is because a new race in Mexico City has been added to the spring schedule, replacing our local event. Now, Richmond will be home to the second-to-last race of the year. (Beyond the Flag)
Cause
Henrico Sports and Entertainment Authroity is making sure the athletes of tomorrow have resources today. The local organization is collecting donated sporting goods — ranging from footballs to tennis rackets — at local Salvation Army locations that will then be distributed to kids across the county.
