Announced

Nikki Glaser, the famed comedian, will perform a second show in Richmond. The first set begins at 7 p.m. and the second set starts at 9:30 p.m., both at Altria Theater. Tickets for the newly added show go on sale Friday, Jan. 17 at 10 a.m.

Development

A groundbreaking ceremony was held at Three Lakes Park & Nature Center to celebrate the start of a $4+ million renovation project. It will bring a multitude of upgrades to the park, such as updated restrooms and walkways, plus new native wildlife exhibits for the now-closed Nature Center.

Drink

Virginia lawmakers returned to the State Capitol after delays caused by the recent water emergency. There are numerous items on their agenda for the new year, and you can get the full breakdown here. (CBS 6)

Travel

Travelers that are 18+ years old will soon be required to use REAL ID whenever they plan to fly on commercial flights, according to a new ruling from the TSA. Virginia will be issuing these in the form of driver’s licenses and identification cards. This will go in effect on May 7.
