There’s a mystery at the Science Museum of Virginia, and it needs help from local sleuths to solve it.
Science on Tap: Mystery at the Museum is a nighttime event that is putting true crime junkies and citizen detectives to the test on Friday, Feb. 21 from 6 to 10 p.m. They will be tasked with finding clues, solving puzzles, listening to riddles, and watching live demonstrations to piece together the full story before the night ends.
That endeavor may take awhile, so food trucks (Big Wife’s Mac and Cheese, Shakedown Eats, and Funnel Cake Recess) + bars will be on site to keep you fueled up. There will also be concession stands for candy, popcorn, and soda. However, no kids are allowed at this mystery, so Scrappy Doo will have to stay at home.
Feeling festive? Throw on your best detective outfit as this night doubles as a costume party.

Henrico County is asking the community to register with its emergency alerting system, which is used to provide accurate updates during crises, such as the recent water emergency. Additionally, folks are asked to ensure their previously entered data is still accurate, especially if they’ve changed addresses or updated phone numbers.

Happy Monday, Richmond. I’m feeling like a million bucks after the weekend. I’ve been forcing myself back to the gym this month and I finally set a new personal record — running a 5K in less than 30 minutes. Please clap for me, I’m flat footed with asthma.
