Development
The 1940s building housing Westhampton Pastry Shop on Patterson Avenue has been approved for a rebuild. The long-standing bakery is slated to remain a tenant, but the building itself will undergo a complete transformation into a four-story retail and office space. (Richmond BizSense)
Opening
Solaire Rooftop Bar is joining RVA’s skyline scene, filling the vacant space of Kabana Rooftop, which closed last New Year’s Eve. The new business plans to establish itself as a socialite bar with a focus on daytime, rather than nightlife.
