A 16-floor high-rise may be in the works for VCU Health. Slated to sit on the corner of East Leigh and North 12th streets, the project would account for 500+ medical beds. Two Torchy’s Tacos restaurants are scheduled to close next week. Short Pump is keeping the torch lit, as one location will remain open on West Broad, but the chain locations in Carytown and Midlothian will have their last day of service on Tuesday, Aug. 26. (Richmond Times-Dispatch)
