Lakeside Farmers Market | Lakeside Avenue | This Northside market runs year-round on Wednesdays and Saturdays, but this month introduces a special Lakeside Earth Love Celebration with Twisted Carrot Farm on Sunday, April 19.

One of the oldest buildings in Richmond is being eyed for commercial use. The Woodward House, just east of Shockoe Bottom, is an 18th-century relic of Richmond’s old dockside neighborhood — a former hub for sailors, tobacco inspectors, and tavern keepers. Wong’s Tacos is now open in Mechanicsville, Hanover County — the third Wong’s location to open in the Richmond region. Like its sister restaurants in Short Pump and Midlothian, the menu is inspired by a fusion of Chinese and Mexican cuisines. (WRIC)
