Bringing home a furry friend is always an exciting adventure full of love, snuggles + a chewed up shoe or two.

It’s National Adopt a Shelter Dog Month , so we’ve done some digging to highlight local animal shelters looking for some purrfect parents to bring any four-legged friend to their furever home.

RACC Foundation | 1600 Chamberlayne Ave.

  • RACC is the oldest animal shelter in the city, saving pets since 1902.
