The Boathouse

All Boathouse locations (including Rocketts Landing, Sunday Park, and Short Pump) are hosting a buffet-style meal this Thanksgiving and still have a few spaces left. They’ve got turkey + apple crisp, but also some of the seafood classics this spot is known for year-round. The buffet is $48 for adults, $19 for children + free for kids under 5-years-old.
Max’s on Broad , 305 Brook Rd., open 11 a.m.-9 p.m.
Head to the Arts District for a traditional Thanksgiving feast of must-have ham + turkey, along with a plethora of side dishes like mashed potatoes + green bean casserole. For an extra $5, you can finish off the meal with a pumpkin, pecan or apple pie. We advise coming around lunchtime, as the reservations for the evening are pretty crowded.

If you’d like to stay home with the family, Fleming’s is offering a three-course catered meal you can pick up curbside, or order for delivery. There’s a menu for the kids palate, but also a special way for the adults to toast to the season. Ever order an old-fashioned from your couch?

Who says you need to save pies for dessert? You can get ahead of the dinner rush by nabbing a fresh Proper Pie today and tomorrow. They’ve got savory options like meat + cheese pies, as well as sweet treats by the slice. Ordering begins at 10 a.m.

Get your meats, cheeses, spices, dairy, beer + wine ahead of the big day at this permanent market on Cary St. You can shop online, but you must pick up your wares by 5 p.m. Wednesday, as the shop itself is closed on Thanksgiving.
