Want to see a movie for 75 cents? There’s no time machine required. Ashland Theatre is celebrating its 75th anniversary with a special event on Thursday, August 10.

The event will feature:

  • A 10 a.m. Open House with a ribbon-tying ceremony, 75 cent popcorn, and door prizes
  • A 1 p.m. showing of classic Looney Tunes cartoon shorts for 75 cents | Get tickets
  • A 7 p.m. screening of the 1948 John Wayne western “Red River” — you guessed it, also 75 cents | Get tickets

The anniversary fun doesn’t stop there — once a month for a whole year, the theater will show classic films from 1948 for 75 cents.
