Less than a year after announcing the return of pre-professional women’s soccer to the River City, Richmond Ivy SC will make its debut on Saturday, May 11 at 6 p.m.

The team’s first test will be against Virginia Marauders FC out of Winchester. Gates open at 4:45 p.m. Plan to get there early — there are rally towels and temporary tattoos up for grabs for the first 500 and 1,000 fans, respectively.

Fans can also enjoy a $5 wine happy hour until kickoff and a selection of local food trucks throughout the match.

The Ivy will play six home and six away games before the inaugural season ends in late June.

It’s not too late to snag $12 tickets.
