Experience five zones of fun at this free event

I See Me Play in RVA! is an annual event by the Children’s Museum of Richmond that brings the magic of play outside its walls and into the community.

Families that play together, stay together. Get ready for a day of hands-on fun at I See Me Play in RVA!, happening Sunday, April 27, from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Dogwood Dell.

Hosted by the Children’s Museum of Richmond, this free event invites families to explore five interactive zones — Create, Grow, Build, Read, and Me — each designed to spark curiosity + creativity.

Kids can dive into hands-on activities and watch demos from community professionals in cool careers. Think: Archaeologists, TV producers, firefighters, and more.

The fun doesn’t stop there. Enjoy live performances from School of Rock and Culture Encounters, plus tasty bites from local food trucks.

Psst… kids often need to “see it to be it,” and this event is a great way to expand their imagination and help them dream big.
