Though there is limited on-street parking, parking will also be available at Stone Brewery (4300 Williamsburg Ave.) and Gillies Creek Park (4425 Williamsburg Ave.) with shuttles running from 6:30-11:30 p.m. on both nights.

It is recommended that attendees take the bus or ride a bike to reach the event.

The art

The exhibition features artwork that embraces light and sound through sculpture, installation, and performance. The central themes concern the histories of African and Indigenous people, during and after the industrial revolution, as well as the environmental impacts of commerce and infrastructure.

The event will host works such as Adama Delphine Fawunda’s video and fabric installation “Deep Inside I’m Blue,” Mary Staurt Hall’s live performance of “Taking Place” + Benjamin Kidder Hodges’s metal bicycle piece “Phantasmagoria of Progress.” Get a sneak peek at the featured artists here.
