RVA Community Fridges and Richmond Food Not Bombs are partnering to open a community space in Northside. Matchbox Mutual Aid will host free food events, cooking showcases, and group meal preparations in addition to office space and storage.

The space isn’t open yet, but it now has a fresh look courtesy of Sure Hand Signs. RVA Community Fridges and Richmond Food Not Bombs have been working to finish the interior of the building, add walk-in fridges, and complete a kitchen.

You can support the effort by donating or volunteering your time. Pro tip: Keep up with RVA Community Fridges on Instagram to get more volunteering information as opening day nears.
