🫖 Here’s the tea — it’s Drink Up Week

Drink Up Week is here and we have a feeling it’ll be the toast of the town.

Today through Friday, July 26, we’re showcasing content about the entrepreneurs, mixologists, venues, and beverages that make Richmond go ‘round.

This got us thinking about the greatest drinks we’ve ever had in the River City, the ones we haven’t stopped thinking about long after that first sip.

City Editor David’s choice is easy. He’s had a Rally Cap grapefruit shandy from Center of the Universe Brewing at every Flying Squirrels game he’s attended in the last three years.

City Editor Robin still daydreams about the pumpkin spice chai from Rostov’s. Since she tried it two autumns ago, it’s become a tradition for her to walk over — leaf-crunching encouraged, but not required — and enjoy a not-too-sweet sip to welcome fall.

Thirsty? Us too. Now that we’ve dished on our favorite local drinks it’s your turn to spill the tea. Tell us, what’s the most memorable drink you’ve ever tried in our city and why? We may share your answers in an upcoming newsletter. Keep an eye out the rest of the week as we continue to celebrate our city’s buzzing beverage community — cheers.
