Do you dream in neon, or have an ‘80s playlist on repeat? You’re in luck, because the next Science on Tap is your ticket to a night of retro fun.

On Thursday, Aug. 1, the Science Museum of Virginia is hosting a 1980s-themed party from 6-10 p.m. During the 21+ event, each floor of the museum will transport you back to the ‘80s with activities inspired by iconic hits. Expect:

  • Retro arcade games
  • Trivia
  • DIY charm bracelets + troll key chains
  • Inflatable foosball and jousting
  • Food trucks, brews, and craft cocktails

Psst... Head to The Dome for a big-screen celebration of ‘80s flicks. From “Star Wars” to “Star Trek”, an astronomer will unpack what Hollywood nailed and what they spaced on.

Whether you’re rocking preppy or punk, aerobics chic or aviator cool, come dressed to impress. Tickets are limited, so snag yours early.

Prepare to party like it’s 1989
