A few ways to make good on New Year’s resolutions in Richmond

Here are some ideas to help get you on your way to some commons goals for the new year in our city.

While it’s been a tricky start to 2025 here in the River City to say the least, there’s still time ample time left to achieve your goals this year.

We’re here to offer a few tips and tricks to make good on some common New Year’s resolutions in Richmond:

  • If exercising more is on your list for 2025, there’s plenty of places to get a sweat on around town. Hit up one of 30+ gyms or flow at a local yoga studio.
  • Lace up those shoes for a hike to spend more time outdoors, or soak in the sounds of nature at 25+ picturesque parks.
  • Learn a new skill at a local class for adults, where you can hone your cooking talents, increase creativity with arts + crafts guidance, or get some green-thumbed gardening goodness.
  • Trying to save money? Introduce these spots to your repertoire where lunch will set you back $12 or less. You could also ditch the name brands and do your shopping at a discount at local thrift stores, flea markets, and consignment shops.
