If exercising more is on your list for 2025, there’s plenty of places to get a sweat on around town. Hit up one of 30+ gyms or flow at a local yoga studio.
Learn a new skill at a local class for adults, where you can hone your cooking talents, increase creativity with arts + crafts guidance, or get some green-thumbed gardening goodness.

Local officials are urging anyone with water access to restrict their usage. This will help the reservoir’s water level, and will help restore services around the city. Exactly how long the boil advisory will stand remains unclear.
Cause
With water distribution sites popping up around Richmond, it bears remembering that some people are less able to reach them. Seniors and individuals with mobility challenges can call 311 and police will deliver water to them.
Community
If you’re still waiting for your water to come back on, a local plumber has some advice for when it does. Illya Davis recommends turning on a faucet outside the house first to help clear any sediment and buildup from the pipes, and letting it run for five minutes. (WTVR)

Richmond’s food scene is punching above its weight again. OpenTable put two local spots on its top 100 list for 2024 — modern French restaurant L’Opossum and Greek eatery Stella’s both made the cut. Rightfully so,in our totally unbiasedopinion.
