There may not be a professional sports team from Virginia in the Super Bowl, but that doesn’t mean the state isn’t well represented.

Whether you’re at the watch parties for the game or the Buffalo chicken dip, we’ve designed this with all fans in mind. You don’t need to know what a line of scrimmage is to understand these fast facts, and we made sure each one has direct ties to RVA and the rest of the Commonwealth.

5) Christian Parker | Philadelphia Eagles

While all eyes will be on the field during the Super Bowl, we’re rooting for this passing game coordinator and defensive backs coach. He graduated from Battlefield High School in Haymarket, VA and went on to graduate from the University of Richmond.

We’re just getting started. Hit the link below for four more Virginians with Super Bowl connections + all the details on how to watch.

Yesterday’s 72º was an unexpected treat in the midst of winter, but it still didn’t match the all-time record for February. That title temperature is 83º, which has occurred three times throughout history — 1930, 1932, and 2023.
