There may not be a professional sports team from Virginia in the Super Bowl, but that doesn’t mean the state isn’t well represented.

Sous Casa is bringing its frozen burritos to local grocery stores sometime around April. For now, the local producer is aiming for smaller grocery stores on the East Coast, but it does plan to expand to larger grocers in the future. The city has paused on accepting water crisis assistance applications after receiving more than 2,200 submissions. There is roughly $650,000 in the crisis fund, and those who applied can expect some sort of payment within 10-15 days.
Watch
Penny’s Wine Shop will be featured in an ad from Google during the Super Bowl. It was selected after the tech giant visited all 50 different states to showcase small businesses that use Google for their day-to-day needs. Ladders and Lattes is hoping to be a one-stop shop for parents with active kids. This indoor playspace is expected to open later this year, featuring climbing structures and sensory tables for kids up to six years old + caffeinated drinks for mom and dad. (Richmond BizSense)

A new Sheetz gas station is expected to open sometime this spring at the Courthouse Landing development, according to a new progress report. Residential living spaces + more businesses are expected to open following Sheetz’s arrival, including Virginia Credit Union. (Richmond BizSense)
