Want to add some volunteer work to your spring calendar? With dozens of local causes making change in our city, you can seek out options that suit your interests and availability (or try something totally new).
To help you find your fit, we rounded up a few upcoming volunteer opportunities aligned with specific interests and personality traits.
Join the Fan District Association for an annual neighborhood parks cleanup, which includes Scuffletown, Federal, Meadow, Grace, Paradise, Lombardy, and Sydney parks.

Keep FETCH a Cure’s annual pet wellness festival running smoothly while tabling, assisting with registration, setting up or breaking down the event space, and meeting plenty of pups, of course.
Virginia Living Magazine has invited the community to join a service of remembrance for Richmonder Hope Cartwright this Saturday, March 28, at Chimborazo Park. The service will begin at 11 a.m. Scroll up for more event details or read the community invitation.

Peaberry Coffeehouse is now open in Chuch Hill North. During its soft launch, the shop will open at 6 a.m. throughout the week and at 7 a.m. on the weekends. Instagram commenter @emgem2025 recommends the blueberry chai.
