Last weekend, we spun our support for local vinyl shops on Record Store Day. Now, we’re flipping the page for the Greater RVA Indie Bookstore Tour — tomorrow, April 25, through Thursday, May 16.

The kick-off aligns with Independent Bookstore Day tomorrow, but our local shops opted to give you several weeks to print a tour passport, collect stamps from participating stores, earn a free prize, and join the running for a grand giveaway.

The Wrap

Run, don’t walk, to ILYSM Books. I’m obsessed with these handmade buttons the Brookland Park shop plans to give out for Indie Bookstore Day tomorrow. The catch is, there are only 25 available to the first book buyers of the day.

I’ll be out of town at the time, but I’m rooting for my fellow bookstore and button enthusiasts.
