Sept. 13-15

25th Anniversary Celebration | Friday, Sept. 13-Sunday, Sept. 15 | Times vary | Starr Hill Beer Hall & Rooftop | Free entry | Help Starr Hill celebrate a quarter century in business at this three-day Oktoberfest event with featured beers, live music, and food trucks.

Oktoberfest at Benchtop | Saturday, Sept. 14 | 12-10 p.m. | Benchtop Brewing | Free entry | BYO stein to fill with Festbier and enjoy a book fair, beer poking, a German-inspired menu, and new cocktails.

Libbie Mill Oktoberfest | Thursday, Sept. 19 | 6-9 p.m. | The Pier at Libbie Lake | Free | Cheers to fall with treats from Yellow Umbrella, First Stop Donuts, and Gelati Celesti, live music from The Sauerkrauts Band, and performances by S.G.T.E.V. Hirschjaeger dancers.

OktoberFest at Strangeways | Saturday, Sept. 21 | 12-5 p.m. | Strangeways Scott’s Addition | Free entry | Head to the brewery for a German spelling bee, keg rolling, stein holding, beer stein races, and plenty of pretzels, drink, and festivities.

Bier-Garden | Saturday, Sept. 21-Sunday, Sept. 22 | Times vary | Maymont | $0-$10 | Raise a glass at this two-day festival on the Carriage House Lawn.

Sept. 27-29

Rocktoberfest | Saturday, Sept. 28 | 12-7 p.m. | Center of the Universe Brewing | Free entry | Head to Ashland for two bands, food from Flavor Chariot, four German beers, and a stein hoisting contest.

Oktoberfest at Smoky Mug | Saturday, Sept. 28 | 4-7 p.m. | The Smoky Mug | Cost of purchase | This Northside staple will be serving smoked jagerwurst, kielbasa, and pork steak, as well as German-style sides and mini pretzels.

October

Hardywood Oktoberfest | Friday, Oct. 4-Sunday, Oct. 6 | Times vary | Free entry, Friday ticketed | Enjoy a beer tasting with Master Brewer Brian Nelson on Friday, then two days of German food, drink, live music, and celebrations Saturday-Sunday.

Richmond Oktoberfest | Friday, Oct. 18-Saturday, Oct. 19 | Times vary | Meadow Event Park | $15+ | Cheers to the season with bands, the Hirschjaeger Bavarian Dancers, a variety of beers, food, and a stein hoisting contest.
