Richmond Restaurant Week returns from Monday, April 24-Sunday, April 30. With 34 participating restaurants, there’s a lot on the menu.
Each participating restaurant will offer a three course, prix fixe meal for $35.23, with $5.23 of that going to Feed More . RRW has been working with the nonprofit since the culinary event began in 2001.
Fun fact: Every $1 donated to Feed More helps provide four meals, so enjoying one meal during Restaurant Week means feeding over 20 community members.
Now there’s just one question — where to go? Here are some of our picks, although there’s really no wrong answer. Pro tip: Click each restaurant name to make a reservation.
🐟 Fish-friendly
Alewife promises Crispy Gulf Shrimp in a green curry sauce and Arctic Char with roasted baby carrots and whipped labneh.
🍗 For carnivores
Try a crispy leg of duck, chicken thighs, or the steak frites at The Shaved Duck in Midlothian. At Jewfro you can enjoy lamb ribs, a za’atar tenderloin, or honey harissa chicken.
🥗 Veggie lovers
Most of the menus we checked out had several vegetarian options, but we were intrigued by the pimento cheese fritters and zucchini noodles at Julep’s . Acacia will also have a sweet red pepper soup and fresh pasta with mushrooms and leeks.
🌶 Try something new
If you haven’t had a chance to try Conejo since it opened last summer, its special menu will include an Ensalada con Garbanzo with tahini green goddess dressing.
🌊 Enjoy the ambiance
The Boathouse and Island Shrimp Co. at Rocketts Landing will have you dining with a riverside view. See Richmond from above by making a reservation for the Q Rooftop .
