Up the Roos this season at City Stadium.

The Kickers begin their season with an away game on Saturday, March 16, but there’s plenty of games to look forward to here in the River City. Here are five matches we’re looking forward to this year.

Pups at the Pitch — Saturday, April 6
Bring your dog to this match against Central Valley Fuego, presented by local nonprofit Impawsible Pups.

For the W (League RVA) — Saturday, April 20
This match against Spokane Velocity has us looking forward to W League RVA’s opening night on Saturday, May 11.

Pride Night — Saturday, June 22
Celebrate Pride Month and up the Roos in this showdown against Northern Colorado Hailstorm, presented by Virginia Pride.

Night at the Museums — Thursday, August 29
We’re intrigued by what this in-season cup match could entail, considering its Stiller-eque title.

Fiesta de Herencia Hispana — Saturday, September 21
This match against Lexington SC is presented by the Virginia Hispanic Chamber. Last year’s partnership with the VHC included a $5 Modelo happy hour and a Salsa Guy halftime show.

The full promotional calendar is online, and single-game tickets are already on sale.
