Confession: we’re winging it.

When we asked what to make Richmond’s unofficial food passport, we got tons of reader suggestionsso many that we’ve got future features planned for fan-favorites like the Sailor Sandwich, Richmond ramen + our oyster obsession.

The top pick came out to be: chicken wings. We took to the Internet + the streets — someone has to do quality control taste-testing, right? — to assemble a list of all the local joints serving drums and flats. We also threw in some regional chains, just for fun.

Vegetarian and vegan Richmonders, never fear. We included fowl-free options as well + marked them in green to stand out from the crowd.
