Raise a Glass — Drink Up Week is coming

Thirsty? We’ve rounded up a few local drink deals and imagined how we would sip our way through our perfect local beverage day in Richmond.

What local business would make your perfect beverage day?

We pride ourselves on keeping you in the mix — so take it from us, a week from today you’re going to want to raise a glass.

We’ll be celebrating Drink Up Week from Monday, July 22 to Friday, July 26, tipping our hats to the buzziest entrepreneurs, mixologists, venues, and beverages across Richmond.

The truth is, in the River City, you’ll never go thirsty. If we could think up our perfect local beverage day, these are some of the sips we’d savor:

  • First, coffee. We’d start our day with a cold brew at Rostov’s. Check out our guide to local coffee shops for even more inspiration.
  • If you’re not a coffee person, you could try a smoothie at The Beet Box or some boba tea from one of Richmond’s many shops.
  • After work, we’d hit up happy hour and treat ourselves to a drink with friends. Pro tip: Try the deals at And Dim Sum for a drink and a bite — every weekday from 4 to 6 p.m., get a $3 dumpling basket, $4 beers, and $5 sake.
  • Or, we’d reach for a mocktail at Pinky’s — we recommend the Afternoon in Monaco with strawberry, basil, lime, and soda water.

Stop by Rostov’s for coffee and treats.
