Horne Dogs

Prepare for devilishly good hot dogs — both beef and vegetarian — and a menu of creative topping combos.

Try it out: Horne Dogs is celebrating three years of business on Sunday, Sept. 1 from 12 to 6 p.m. at Don’t Look Back Triple.

Quarter Horse

Virginia ingredients are the stars of each German dish this pop-up prepares.

Bebow

Celeste Farms

Head to eastern Henrico for the Celeste Dinner Experience, where you’ll enjoy an educational tour of the farm followed by a multi-course meal in a wildflower meadow.

Try it out: The next dinners are the first weekend in September. Tickets are $125.

This Thai pop-up from chef Brennan Griffith specializes in bold flavors.

Try it out: The next pop-up is on the books for Thursday, Aug. 29 from 6 to 9 p.m. at Ardent Barrel Room.

Shift Meal

This pop-up tends to host its eccentric and flavor-filled events on Mondays, when restaurant workers typically have the day off.

Bonus: Two longtime pop-ups, Secret Squares and Susie’s, are on their way to opening restaurants. You’ll soon be able to dine on Detroit-style pizza in Church Hill and Jewish-Mediterranean eats in the Fan.
