Hatch Local Food Hall is set to open tomorrow at 400 Hull St. in Manchester.

The party starts at 8 a.m. with Afterglow Coffee Cooperative, Roots Tea Blends, and The Beet Box. Going forward, the hall will offer full food service from 11 a.m.-10 p.m. Wednesdays-Fridays. It’ll open at 9 a.m. on weekends.

The Manchester venue will feature local vendors plus a coffee bar, full service bar + curated market. Hatch released its lineup of eats back in July. Here’s what they’re cooking up:

  • Buttermilk + Honey | An award-winning fried chicken experience
  • Sincero | Mexican cuisine crafted with creativity
  • The Beet Box | Juices, smoothies, and healthy food
  • Odyssey Fish | Casual, sustainable seafood
  • Fat Kid Sandwiches | Over-the-top sandies
  • Royal Pig | Cambodian fare that’s no frills, all flavor

Hungry for some backstory? We talked to a few of the vendors in advance of the opening.

Chef couple Liz Clifford + Jon Martin, who own Fat Kid Sandwiches, said they’re a natural fit for the space.

“The location in Manchester is perfect,” Clifford said. “[It’s] close enough to downtown for an easy lunch, but on Southside, where so much development is happening.”

The spirit of collaboration is apparent to many of Hatch Local’s vendors.

“It’s nice to feel we’re all on the same team instead of having to compete with each other,” Martin said.

Jadine Yarde of The Beet Box, a health-focused juice bar, said the team is also looking forward to being in the neighborhood. Founder + owner Ashley Lewis already operates a flagship location on Cary Street.

“We are most excited about being able to provide our offerings to the wider community and to be amongst other amazing businesses,” Yarde said.

Be sure to check in with us on Instagram for tomorrow’s opening — and if you’re there, say hey.

Bonus: Hatch Local Food Hall is now hiring bartenders, baristas + counter servers. Email your resume to schedule an interview for part or full time positions.
