Outdoors
  • Richmond is joining the other localities that have broken ground on the Fall Line Trail. City leaders marked the occasion with an event at Bryan Park last Wednesday. Once complete, the full trail will span 43 miles from Colonial Heights to Ashland.
Open
  • It’s a Saladworks. It’s a Frutta Bowls. It’s a combination Saladworks and Frutta Bowls. The new two-in-one restaurant is open in Duckridge Landing in western Chesterfield. Both franchises are owned and operated by the same couple. (Richmond BizSense)
Film
  • Tickets go on sale tomorrow for the 8th annual Pocahontas Reframed Film Festival. This year’s installment will feature 20+ films made by and about indigenous people, as well as live panels and performances.
Transit
  • Learn about Henrico and GRTC’s plan to extend the Pulse to Parham Road at a public meeting on Oct. 1 at 5 p.m. at Libbie Mill Library. The extension will include a new station at the Old Parham Road Shopping Center, projected to open in three to five years.
