Patch | “We bottle fed him and his siblings when they were rescued at a week old. He loves to eat flowers.”
Richmond pets... part two.

A refresher in case you missed it: We asked our readers to submit photos of their beloved pets, and they did not disappoint. In fact, we received so many submissions that we decided to divide and double the love with two separate features for cats and dogs.

See our adorable roundup of RVA’s ruling + drooling canines. This one’s for the cats.

Put your paws up for...

A brown/black and white cat yawns, laying down on orange bedsheets in the picture to the left. In the picture to the right, the same cat lays on a rosy pick couch. The car wears a collar with a nametag, and one eye is grey.

Pearl | “She has one good eye, and she thinks she’s a seal. She loves hammocks and worms on a string.”

In the photo to the left, a black cat with yellow eyes stretches its arms over a person's stomach as they lounge on a couch. In the photo to the right, the same black cat cuddles a furry stuffed animal of a black cat with yellow eyes.

Cupid | “He loves everyone he meets!”

Get to know your editor:

Where are my Dolly Parton fans? I lived in the Volunteer State for nearly ten years before moving to RVA. My Tennessee mountain home was near the Appalachian hills of Johnson City, and I attended college in good ol’ Chattanooga. Hi NOOGAtoday.

I’m heading to Sevierville this weekend to visit some old friends of mine. I’ll be back on the 9-5 next Tuesday with an update on whether I ran into our country queen.
