The 1960s are calling, and we’re picking up the rotary phone.

In a search for unique homes passing through the Richmond market, we happened upon this mellow timepiece in Barton Heights, Northside. The 1961 rancher beckons back to a bygone era — perhaps not as bygone as we thought.

“The owner custom-built the home,” real estate agent Natasha Delaney said. Since then, it seems some things have stayed true to retro form.

According to Delaney, the home sold over the weekend, but we were able to hold onto a few pictures so it could still have its moment in the spotlight. See what other features transport you back to the 1960s.
