RPS opens 10 summer meal sites for students

Students ages 18 and under can eat breakfast and lunch at schools beginning June 10.

Starting Monday, June 10, RPS students under 18 can eat breakfast and lunch at one of ten schools every weekday but Friday.

Breakfast will be served between 7:30 and 9:30 a.m. and lunch will be available at hours between 10:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m., both depending on the location.

Meals will be served at the following schools:

  • Broad Rock Elementary
  • JB Fisher Elementary
  • Henry Marsh Elementary
  • Holton Elementary
  • Mary Munford Elementary
  • River City Middle School
  • Dogwood Middle School
  • Huguenot Middle School
  • Richmond Technical Center

The program will run until July 18 and will be closed on July 4. All meals served will meet federal nutrition requirements based on USDA Dietary Guidelines.
