City summer camps open for signups

Programs available at several community centers

Signups for Richmond’s city-run summer camps opened on Monday, Feb. 5. The day camps are held at parks and community centers around the city, and range from arts and crafts to sports.

Programs for summer 2024 include Nature Film Camp and Summer Dance Intensive at Pine Camp Cultural Arts Center, Discover Art Everywhere at Hickory Hill Community Center, Summer Artsplosion at Ann Hardy Plaza, and Summer Blast Day Camps at Humphrey Calder Community Center.

Most camps range in cost from $150 to $450, with a deposit due during registration, but scholarships are available from Richmond Parks & Recreation.
