From the common to the complex, Children’s Hospital of Richmond at VCU’s Children’s Tower (which opened in April 2023) is designed to ensure children receive state-of-the-art care when they need it most.

The new, 16-story home to pediatric inpatient, emergency, and trauma care provides:

  • A welcoming, child-friendly space
  • 300 specialists expertly trained in caring for kids
  • 72 all-private acute and intensive care rooms
  • Treatment for life’s unexpected moments — from a sports injury to a health scare to cancer requiring advanced care
