Support city schools and score unique prizes during the inaugural Celebrate RPS auction

The citywide auction is being put on by the RPS Education Foundation and includes items from local restaurants, authors, museums, and more.

The RPS Education Foundation has kicked off a first-of-its-kind auction to support families and students in Richmond Public Schools. Over 75 items are up for bidding in the Celebrate RPS online auction.

The citywide auction is open now through Tuesday, May 28. To participate, simply register to bid and start clicking through items.

Items up for grabs include some enviable local experiences, products, and trips. Here are a few that caught our eye, at a variety of price points.

🍦 Food and drink

  • A master class from pitmaster and local legend Ronnie Logan of The Original Ronnie’s BBQ
  • A VIP experience for eight at The Emerald Lounge’s holiday pop-up, Sippin’ Santa
  • A 12-month Pint Club membership at Scoop, which will net you three artisanal pints per month and members-only merch
  • A champagne dinner for two at L’Opossum

Created in 2001, the RPS Education Foundation supports the city’s public school system by fundraising from private contributions. It focuses on areas that are also priorities in the district’s strategic plan, including teacher recruitment and retention and Career and Technical Education initiatives.
